We are following government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and have a risk assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. And we have received accreditation to the ‘We’re good to go’ industry standard run by Visit England. See our ‘COVID-19’ page for further information about what we are doing.Please note that for the time being, we are maintaining a minimum gap of 3 days between bookings and are restricting maximum numbers of guests in each house to 5 so won't be making the sofa beds available for sleeping.

Hartshill (sleeps 5+2) and Ribblesdale (sleeps 5+2) are adjoining stone-built holiday houses situated just a 10 minute walk from the centre of the thriving market town of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District. They are suitable for families or friends at any time of year and if booked together can accommodate groups of up to 14. The houses are well-equipped, centrally-heated and furnished to a high standard but they are not equipped for the disabled. Each house has free Wi Fi, off-road parking for two cars, well laid-out gardens with patio area and secure storage for bicycles and outdoor gear.
Bakewell is the perfect base for a variety of activities, whether walking, cycling, visiting nearby stately homes (such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall) and other attractions, or just relaxing in wonderful peaceful surroundings. The town is full of character, with a wide range of shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, parks and gardens and a large outdoor market every Monday, including Bank Holidays. Bakewell hosts a number of annual festivals, including the Bakewell Carnival, the Bakewell Show, the Bakewell Arts Festival and the Bakewell Acousitc Music Festival.
